These rallies carry the clear message that we have a moral obligation to Christ as well as to the next generation to stand for truth and live our faith beyond the four walls of our churches. In a time that is in such desparate need of answers may the Christian body look to our faith and share those answers as messengers of truth and principle.

The rally featured Dr. Jody Hice and Aaron Evans as the keynote speakers. Steven Schumpert of Columbia placed much hard work into the event as our local coordinator.

Daybreak Crisis Pregnancy Care Center of Columbia was also represented at the rally. Daybreak’s Assistant Director, Ms. Patti Richardson, spoke powerfully on the importance of protecting life.

Also known as “The Jody Hice Show”, the program confronts moral issues and the culture war head on with provoking stories and informative dialogue. Dr. Jody Hice pulls no punches as the host of this acclaimed show that is turning heads and grabbing attention all across the country.

With this huge new step comes new challenges. We are in need of 500 faith partners that will financially support this outreach for $25 per month. Jody Hice and Aaron Evans spoke with great urgency and potency as they reminded those in attendance of America’s Christian roots and warned of current attacks on our religious and constitutional liberties throughout the land. They challenged the Christian body to awaken out of slumber and stand together as one united voice for our freedoms and for the cause of Christ.

Aaron Evans stated in some of his closing remarks, “Our group, sitting here tonight, will be remembered in one of two ways by future generations. We will either be remembered as the group of patriots that awakened from our slumber and realized that the next generation was going to be birthed into a different America, stripped of the freedoms which we have cherished and thrived under. Therefore, we stepped up, rallied together, fought the good fight, and kept the torch of liberty burning so that they could also experience the same pursuit of life and liberty that we and our forefathers have enjoyed. On the other hand, if we neglect that path, we will be remembered as the generation that was so apathetical, content, cowardly, self-centered and lazy that we allowed our freedoms to be given away and our liberties squandered, therefore snuffing the light of hope for any future generations that may have the precious desires of experiencing the American dreams of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Tonight we must decide in which manner we will be remembered. May we stand together for a cause greater than ourselves, unite as one, and keep the torch of liberty burning for future generations as our forefathers chose to sacrifice and do for us.”
